Dan has served as Chief Operations Officer, CISO and Chief Technology Risk Officer for multiple large global organisations in the UK and the US.  He recently led the creation and inception of the Financial Sector Cyber Collaboration Centre for the United Kingdom. He also introduced a simplified Cloud Computing Controls Framework that has been adopted the world’s largest cloud providers.

He has been a board member of the Internet Security Alliance, the Cloud Security Alliance metrics group, a Non-Executive Director and mentor for multiple small companies and technology start-ups.  His ability to communicate and influence technical and non-technical colleagues has been a core strength.  The Financial Times has recognised Dan on multiple years as a top 100 global executive in their annual leadership listing.
