I have extensive experience of managing projects from ‘cradle-to-grave’ both from Bid – baselining schedules, resources, dependencies, risk & opportunity planning and budgets.  Finalising and presenting associated business case to senior team. Also project delivery through mobilisation to commissioning / sign-off.

I am well versed in modern project management methodologies to ensure proactive and robust management of the project.  Key attention is paid to baseline documentation including schedule for hardware, software, associated documentation.  Margin preservation, milestone adherence, creep (distinction between erosion and Variation Orders of primary importance) cash flow and all associated fiscal planning are also priority one focal points.

I’ve been privileged to work on some high value, prestigious and complex projects during my career, the largest being two Aircraft Carriers for the UK Ministry of Defence (UK MoD). I have worked nationally and internationally, embracing equality, diversity and inclusivity and the added value of this to organisations.

I have a proven record of transferring my leadership and management skills to a range of high profile, complex sectors. As a freelance specialist, it has been necessary to build essential knowledge of the organisation quickly to operate effectively at a senior and strategic level. This has been achieved via a range of skills, including transferable management knowledge and experience, ability to analyse, interpret and apply organisational data and policy, working effectively with and leading wider members of the multi-disciplinary and leadership team.

I have extensive demonstrable experience and knowledge in Leadership, Financial Management, Quality, Risk & Opportunity, Performance Management and Stakeholder Management skills at all levels of business.
