I am an experienced FD and senior Finance leader with over 20 years of experience. I am a CIMA Qualified accountant with significant experience of building, leading, transforming and developing geographically dispersed diverse Finance functions.  I have built Finance teams from scratch (including outsourced teams) and transformed existing teams to ensure scale-ability. My experience covers coaching, mentoring, training and hiring staff.  I have worked in large complex and smaller PE backed organisations and have considerable experience of working with senior management up to Investor and Board level in a commercial and strategic context.  I am focused on strong controls and accuracy, automation, operational efficiency, effectiveness, best practise and driving performance improvements for firms. My broad experience means my skills are transferable cross sector/industry and size of firm.

I have significant experience in FP&A and Cost management, having set up processes, models and reporting from scratch in global matrix environments and smaller firms and I am excellent in business partnering and working collaboratively across organisations.  I have a strong proven track record of business analytics, driving business transformation (having successfully delivered many transformation programmes), project management, streamlining processes, delivering automation through technology and implementing strong control environments.  I also have strong experience in regulatory and risk/governance, having worked and interacted very closely with Bank of England, PRA and FCA. My broader Finance capabilities also cover the following functions: capital, liquidity, accounts payable and receivable, financial accounting and reporting (including leading statutory audit processes), payroll.
