A skilled IT Professional with over 25 years of experience working in busy IT departments spanning both public and private sector along with strong managerial skills gained in positions for well over 10 years. My technical strengths lie in Windows desktop and server environments, having been a hands on engineer and. For the last 4 years I have also been heavily involved in new business development for a managed service provider selling Microsoft on premiss and cloud solutions along with cyber security. Experience in managing teams of up to 12 people across multiple sites and infrastructures, including managing development of staff.
With a background in ITIL infrastructures I believe that all IT departments no matter how big or small can be improved with the use of solid but flexible structures.
Helping the local community is important to me, I have in the past been a qualified rugby coach for 9 – 14 year olds and now assist with coaching of a small Judo club. I also enjoy raising money for various charities.
