Indicative day rate £860. Geo – London, South East, Remote.

I have considerable stakeholder management experience working in a consultancy or client/customer-facing role, including supporting business development/sales staff in F2F pre-sales technical discussions with clients. Substantial first-hand experience of presentation & public-speaking skills including training; contract & deal negotiation including supplier management; as well as company law, accounting practices (including software R&D tax reclaims) etc. Twice held SC Security Clearance through MoD, have also held HMRC’s internal security clearance.

I am a former programmer & DBA, with experience including the design and development of tools specifically to assist with migrating complex user data both into and out of various SQL repositories. I have also designed, built and managed both servers and server rooms.

My preference is to work for a small or start-up business in a rapid tech growth phase, ideally engaged on a part-time and/or contract basis to add maximum value when and where needed (but not excluding full time in the right environment), perhaps as Interim IT / Technical Director / CTO / Programme Director or similar role. Ideally I would like it to be somewhere I can help make a positive difference to people’s lives, such as clinical research, charity work or the environment, although my leisure time passions revolve around classic automotive engineering and motorsport so this area would also be of great interest.

I am very flexible on working arrangements but my preference is for home-based remote-working with on-site days limited to what is necessary, ideally somewhere that isn’t too far from home (Bracknell area).
