Indicative day rate £690 – £870 pending contract and inside/outside IR35. Geo – London, South East & Remote.

A PMO Lead with over 14 years of managing Project, Programme or Portfolio Management Offices for business and technology transformation programmes with a budget responsibility circa £100m.  Former PwC change management specialist with expertise in PMO setup, governance, and best practice, forming unique insights to expose strategic opportunities, transforming underperforming programmes of work, reducing risks, and driving successful business outcomes.

Key strengths include: Focusing on business benefits, building strong relationships with programme managers, operational teams and stakeholders; to ensure a joined-up approach to execute the change at pace and deliver strategic business outcomes. Experienced in M&A, carve out and Post Merger Integration activities, carrying out consulting responsibilities to align people, process, and systems with integration objectives as part of Integration Management Office (IMO).

Specifically, creating lean PMO solutions to support programme leaders effectively control change initiatives.

Skills and experience:
Setting up a fully functional PMO from Terms of reference to fully mobilised.
▪ Deploying governance models or enhancements for effective control mechanisms to be adopted across a change portfolio.
▪ Produce effective progress reports for overall programme to keep senior management appraised of status, major risks and issues, scope changes, budget utilisation, headcount, and milestone achievement, misses and implications.
▪ Experienced in managing IT enabled business change projects with Prince2, PMI, AGILE SAFe methodology in a structured ITIL environment.
▪ Business case analysis, requirements gathering, strategy execution (using SMEs), stakeholder engagement, quality
assurance, testing, and implementation.
▪ Coaching and mentoring individuals tasked with executing change project and programme management fundamentals.
▪ Running workshops, facilitation, and brainstorming sessions, to ascertain solutions and lobby sponsorship from senior stakeholders.
▪ Creating project plans, roadmaps, and templates using MS Project, MS Office and PPM Tools including Clarity, JIRA.
▪ Overall management of RAIDs processes to identify common themes across the programme of works and influence common resolution.
▪ Facilitate dependency management across projects/work streams and portfolios
