I am a dynamic and dedicated Network Engineer looking to gain networking experience in a dynamic and demanding environment. I am someone that enjoys being part of a successful and productive team, whilst able to work under my own initiative and take responsibility for actions.  A talented trouble-shooter who demonstrates the levels of motivation and organisation required to meet tight deadlines in highly pressured environments. I am a straight forward and outgoing person with a friendly personality. From my previous work experience and academic qualifications I believe I have all the skills needed to surpass performance expectations. I am described as an individual who is mature, takes initiative, hardworking, reliable, motivated, and responsible. I have excellent interpersonal and customer liaison skills, communicating confidently at all levels, with the drive, ambition, and commitment to succeed in a new challenge.

• Understanding of networking concepts pertaining to LAN & WAN network.
• Working knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Interior Routing Protocols like (RIP Version 1 & 2, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS & HSRP, with extensive knowledge of QoS.
• Knowledge of switching technologies such as spanning tree protocol (STP), LAN Trunking, Port Security. Knowledge of VLAN, VTP Domain, Transparent & Clients
• Configuration of Inter V-LAN Routing, ISDN & Frame Relay. Good understanding of Multiprotocol Labelling Switch (MPLS) architecture and Frame Mode MPLS and MPLS VPN technologies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience on majority of Cisco’s products.
• SIP – I have knowledge of  SIP protocol and telephony based upon the Hosted model. I also have experience reading and debugging SIP/IP traces, as well as implementing SIP.
• Configuration of  Telephones and installation of  telephones on platforms such as Cisco, Avaya & Third party applications.
• Configuration  skills for  Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Avaya & Broadsoft.
• Troubleshooting skills on VOIP
• Experience of using and working with Cisco Pix/ASA firewalls.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and 7.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• experience in Desktop Support.
• Experience of working with Linux
• Experience of best security practises for networks, securing an end user enviorment
• Experience of liaising with partners, in order to resolve issues and relaying information to technical and non-technical individuals
